Cooped up kids
An article in the Daily Mail describes the steadily shrinking roaming range that four generations of a particular family's children have been afforded. One of my favorite comments was offered by another member of my
granfalloon, Adam of Lancaster:
Since [my childhood] there has been a great increase in the right to behave badly... and an equal decrease in the freedom to behave normally.Labels: childhood, Society
Letter to Patty Murray RE: Endorsing Lamont
Ms. Murray -
You have yet to announce your support for a candidate in the Connecticut general election. I hope that is not an indication that you may be considering lending your public support to a non-democrat. This Washington voter believes that Democrats should stick together to rebuild a majority and that the Democratic voters of Connecticut have chosen the candidate who best represents them. If you are not in agreement, I am anxious to know why. If you are in agreement, I will be proud of you as my Senator when you publicly declare your position.

I am throwing this post up because I have been dropping comments on a few boards around blogspot and people might click through. This is apparently how they get their "billion blogs per week" figures: in order to comment, I had to start a blog. Here it is.
I am Adam.
I live in Seattle.
I used to live in Oregon.
Nice to meet you.
